We work beneath the sun,
our sweat feeds the soil,
our hands pull up wealth
while our tired blood boils.

We work for them,
on hands and knees for them,
coming from a land
that dares not question them.
And they dare call us anti-American?

We live without question,
but fear drags us down.
We are just as much a part,
but we are still torn to the ground.

We sing the pursuit of happiness,
but their satisfaction is lorded over us.
Our lips are tied, our shackles tightened,
and in tears we cry.

Paranoia and hate
Like Newtown
What is going down?
Like Obama-care
Public option is not there
Like polarization of Washington
Change was what we were hoping
Like the liberals
Why do you create walls?
Like the conservatives
Why do you lack objectives?
Like the American Dream
It isn't want it seems

No one would look at this picture and say,

Maybe if the hands were coloured differently.
Someone would complain, some racist out there.

But I wouldn't and I know most others wouldn't either.
But that's a shame it's not everyone.

NichtsNothing is a word I use
to push people away.
But sometimes words will set the fuse
and cause no one to stay.

Nothing works for me, I know.
And everybody sees
that nothing's all I got to show.
I locked myself without the keys.

Nothing helps me through the day,
and maybe once I'm dead
I'll have some reasons, maybe stay.
And get these thoughts out of my head.

I always think about nothing

in appreciation for the things
around him, and in his mind,
he sees others of his kind.

A darkness, ebbing and flowing
with the tide. Ever-growing
madness that seeps-
the little bird cheeps.

A tolling bell, the bird is now quiet.
His mind and heart go on a diet,
and his songs are gone and soon
replaced with a sad tune.

A year, the time drags.
The bird and his friends: fags
for showing that they care
more about their hearts than their hair.

A lifetime ago, never would this come to fruition,
and Momma bird with her intuition
would save her fledging from the world.

Culture Shock

A hostile experience is insufficient to asses the streets I sailed.
As a privileged burden, surely it must be right.
No trace of the wise was visible.
False emotions concluded the atmosphere
because skin alone held no trash propaganda of freedoms,
strongly reinforced by a stage.
Achievement was measured by verbal and nonverbal conditions,
influencing children in underprivileged differences.
Their answers found that both were submissive at unrealistic status.
For this purpose, quality can go to poorer opportunities,
and it would lower disadvantages and advantages about inheritance.
There is no doubt figures show society is probably special with the assumption
that each overwhelming culture is concerned with the versatility of a damaged brain,
programmed to improve these children.
The hope did not live up to readiness,
and language for the Failure has failed
since Progress is Changes.
It is a waste of time.

i wrote this in creative writing class, and it was formed by looking at random pages in books and picking out words to use.

i tweaked it to make it flow better, and i ended up really liking it.
